About us
College Location
The college is located in the northern part of Tanzania, in the Kilimanjaro region, in the rural district of Moshi, Kilema South ward, within the village of Mrereni, about 12 kilometers from the Himo junction — the main road from Moshi to Dar es Salaam — and 8 kilometers from the main road junction from Himo to Himo–Holili.
The college is situated on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in an area called Kilema, characterized by serene natural surroundings in the hills surrounding the college. The temperature in the college area is estimated to range from 19ºC to 30ºC.
This area experiences rainfall twice a year, with the long rains falling between October and December and the short rains falling between February and May.
Administrative Officials
The college is led by the Principal, who is appointed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. The college has an Advisory Board that oversees the progress of various operational and management activities of the college and provides advice when necessary. The Principal leads the college through various committees and departments such as the Academic Department, Student Registration, Ethics Department, College Production Coordinator, Internal Quality Control Coordinator, Procurement, and the Accounting Office.
